Sir/Madam,
 
I want to create a memorial website for my mom and I want my friends to be able to make donations to my moms' foundation through the website.  I want to ask if this is possible.  Thanks.

Rufus - Yes it is!
We're really pleased when people want to use their memorial as a way of raising money for a good cause in memory of their loved one.
In your 'Settings' panel, look at the 'Contributions' area and you will see a 'donate' section.
Add some text about your mom's foundation and add the URL of its online donate page (or home page if it does not have one) and this will then display as a donate option to all visitors to your site.
