What if I decide not to continue with my website?
This is fine. If you do nothing, after two weeks we will send you an email saying that your website will be deactivated and if you do not respond, shortly afterwards this will be actioned.
Why is there not a charge for 10 year hosting?
We arrange for fast and secure hosting of your website so that it is always accessible to you via the internet for at least 10 years. Whilst this does incur costs, we cover these through on-going donations so that this service can be offered to you free of charge.
What exactly is the Perpetual option?
This really does mean that we will host your website forever. Hosting costs are anticipated to fall significantly in the future and we have taken advice in order to prudently calculate the sum required to enable financing of your website hosting on a continuing basis.
Is the Perpetuity payment REALLY just a one-off cost?
Yes. There is no further annual or any other charge whatsoever. After making your one-off contribution you will receive a certification reference along with your account upgrade confirming perpetual hosting.
Can the perpetual option be guaranteed?

If I choose the 10 year option, can I change to perpetual later?
Yes. Even if you only choose 10 years hosting now, you can still change to perpetual at any time.
Can I amend or add to my website after arranging the hosting?
Yes. You can amend and develop your site throughout your hosting period and we actively encourage you to do this as a way of remembering, paying tribute and working through your bereavement grief.
What is my website memory limit?
This is currently 10MB which is sufficient for hundreds of photos, unlimited text and a couple of music tracks. By optimising any music that you upload, it can significantly increase the amount of information you can add within this limit. We have online help files on music optimisation available to you.
What if I go over my memory limit
Don’t worry, we clearly show you how much space is left at all times and warn you if you do get close to your limit. You can then add extra storage space by buying as much extra memory as you want, whenever you want. This is available in small chunks so that you can buy as many or as few chunks as you need. If you have multiple tributes this memory will be available to any of them.
How can I pay and how secure is payment?
You can pay by any credit or debit card or through a PayPal account if you have one.
The payment process is carried out securely by Paypal and we do not take or store any personal financial details whatsoever.
Does MuchLoved expect donations from users?
No. We are always appreciative when people feel able to donate to help support our development but please do not feel under any obligation.
