All donations made through MuchLoved websites are processed either directly by the recipient charity themselves to avoid incurring charges or through an online donation processing service.
MuchLoved provide the website memorial service free of charge, however there may be a small charge by the donation processing service provider to cover the running cost of the service including credit card charges and administration.
Those charities without their own online processing system are processed by The Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) which is a registered UK charity. These incur a 5% charge deducted from the donation which includes all gift aid reclaim and credit card charges, with no other cost or fee, making it an extremely efficient way of collecting online donations for charity.
