Barnardo's works directly with over 100,000 children, young people and their families every year.

We run 383 vital projects across the UK to help some of the most vulnerable children and young people.

Whatever the issue; from family drug misuse to disability; from youth crime to mental health; from sexual abuse to domestic violence; Barnardo's believes we can bring out the best in every child, and that all children deserve the chance to fulfil their potential.

We use the knowledge gained from our direct work with children to campaign for better childcare policy and to champion the rights of every child. With the right help, committed support and a little belief, even the most vulnerable children can turn their lives around.

For every £1 donated, 81p goes directly to helping vulnerable children, young people and their families - 94p if property development and retail shop costs are excluded. For every £1 we spend on fundraising, we raise £4.86.
