A Special Kind of Care

We opened our first inpatient unit in Warwick in 1982 and remain the only inpatient unit within Coventry and Warwickshire. In addition we now also run Day Hospices and Hospice at Home services both from our original site in Warwick and our purpose built day hospice in Rugby which opened in 2002.

We are also currently running a capital appeal to build and run a hospice in Coventry which we hope will open for in patients in early 2009. Many of our services can and are provided across all our sites (and in patients homes), these include: Counselling, Lymphoedema, Chaplaincy and Complimentary Therapies.

Our aim for all our patients is:

To ensure privacy and dignity at all times.
To encourage involvement in planning and delivering care for those who wish to do so, having provided information about care, treatment or illness with the time for discussion with staff, family and carers.
That wishes are respected, understood and adhered to wherever practically possible.
To provide an open and honest environment to share hopes, worries, fears and concerns.
